Taxonomy
Pleurotoma (Borsonia) bartschi was named by Arnold (1903). It is extant. Its type specimen is USNM 162535, a shell.

It was recombined as Borsonia bartschi by Valentine (1958); it was recombined as Borsonella bartschi by Clark (1931) and Hendy (2021).
