Callianax pedroana

Taxonomy
Strephona pedroana was named by Conrad (1855). It is extant. Its type locality is Recent Formation, San Pedro [of Conrad, 1855], which is in a Pleistocene coastal sandstone in the Palos Verdes Sand Formation of California.

It was recombined as Oliva pedroensis by Conrad (1855); it was recombined as Olivella pedroana by Ashley (1895), Etherington (1931), Grant and Gale (1931), Woodring (1946) and Addicott and Emerson (1959); it was recombined as Olivella (Callianax) pedroana by Olsson (1956); it was recombined as Callianax pedroana by Hendy (2021).
