G. R. Licari 1978Filaments wide, tubular, dichotomously and laterally branched, rarely septate. Filaments not attenuated, straight to slightly curved, seldom recurved, in matlike aggregates. Filaments attain lengths greater than 1,200 μ,m. Nature of terminations and mode of reproduction unknown.
