Euacacioxylon was named by Mueller-Stoll and Maedel (1967). It is not extant. Its type is Euacacioxylon bharadwajii.

It was assigned to Leguminosae by Blazer (1975) and Lakhanpal et al. (1976); and to Fabaceae by Srivastava (1991).
