It was assigned to Hexactinellida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Hexactinosa by Finks et al. (2004).

  • Eudictyon was named by Bistram (1903) [Sepkoski's age data: J Hett Sepkoski's reference number: 218]. It is not extant.

    It was replaced with Idiodictyon by Laubenfels (1955).

    It was assigned to Hexactinellida by Sepkoski (2002).
