Diagnosis
Reference | Diagnosis | |
---|---|---|
H. de Bruijn 1976 | Murinae with a dental pattern closely resembling that of Apodemus, but the t7 of M1 and M2 is either absent or weak in the majority of the specimens. A minimum number of 10 M1 + M2 should be available in order to distinguish Parapodemus from Apodemus in any assemblage with specimens showing a strong t4-t8 connection in these molars. |
