Ptychoceratodus cionei

Taxonomy
Ptychoceratodus cionei was named by Apesteguia et al. (2007). Its type specimen is MACN PV RN157B, a tooth (left lower tooth plate), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Los Alamitos vertebrates, middle section, which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian lacustrine - large siltstone/sandstone in the Los Alamitos Formation of Argentina.
