Chalalabelus renniei

Taxonomy
Conoteuthis renniei was named by Spath (1939). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chalala, near Delagoa Bay, which is in an Aptian carbonate limestone in Mozambique. It is the type species of Chalalabelus.

It was recombined as Chalalabelus renniei by Jeletzky (1981) and Fuchs (2019).
