Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
G. G. Puebla et al. 2019Simple leaves in whorls. Crenate margin, thick petiole with about five parallels veins entering at the trumpet-shaped base. Leaves have differences in their abaxial and adaxial surfaces, there are protuberances or roughness on the blade surface. Venation flabellate, with at least eight thin primary veins that arise from the base with a sinuous course towards the apex. Secondary veins with sinuous course. Tertiary and quaternary veins with a random reticulate arrangement. Numerous roots with a middle dark band are born around the plantlets, and from these arise many thin rootlets.
