Potrerillopanorpa macloughlini
Taxonomy
Potrerillopanorpa macloughlini was named by Lara and Bashkuev (2020) [Forewing length, as preserved, 6.51 mm, indicating a whole wing length at least 9 mm; maximal width 3.41 mm.]. Its type specimen is IANIGLA-PI 1060a-b, a forewing (incomplete forewing; only distal half of wing is preserved, with apex and part of anterior margin with most of the pterostigma missing; counterpart is preserved), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Quebrada del Durazno, Cerro Cacheuta (IANIGLA collection), which is in a Carnian lacustrine delta plain shale in the Potrerillos Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Potrerillopanorpa.
