Taxonomy
Kongonaphon kely was named by Kammerer et al. (2020). It is not extant. Its type specimen is UA 10618, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is East of Sakaraha, which is in a Ladinian/Carnian terrestrial horizon in the Isalo II Formation of Madagascar.
