Turritella granti

Taxonomy
Turritella granti was named by Valentine and Susuki (1959). Its type specimen is UCLA 28013, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LACMIP Loc. 22460 - Palos Verdes Peninsula [Timms Point Silt], which is in a Pleistocene shallow subtidal sandstone in the Timms Point Silt Formation of California.
