Taxonomy
Parapermula circummaculosa was named by Aristov (2005). Its type specimen is PIN 1631/414, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Khal'mer-Yu coalfield, borehole KhK-997, depth 717.7 m, which is in a Kungurian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Lek-Vorkuta Formation of the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Sylvoedischia circummaculosa by Aristov and Gorochov (2020).
