It was corrected as Haquiena by Thewissen et al. (2001).
It was assigned to Helohyidae by Carroll (1988); to Raoellidae by McKenna and Bell (1997), Thewissen et al. (2001) and Vislobokova (2004); and to Dichobunidae by Dehm and Oettingen-Spielberg (1958) and Theodor et al. (2007).
