Taxonomy
Paramiolabis was named by Kelly (1992) [type species is P. tenuis and not P. singularis: see Whistler and Webb 2005]. Its type is Miolabis tenuis.

It was assigned to Miolabinae by Kelly (1992), Honey et al. (1998), Pagnac (2005) and Whistler and Webb (2005).
