Taxonomy
Lunulites immensa was named by Håkansson and Voigt (1996). Its type specimen is MGUH 23100 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Stevns Klint, Danish White Chalk, which is in a Maastrichtian carbonate chalk in Denmark.
