Taxonomy
Pavolunulites moenensis was named by Håkansson and Voigt (1996). Its type specimen is MGUH 23116 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Møns Klint, St. Taler, which is in a Maastrichtian carbonate chalk in Denmark.
