Cambaytherium marinus
Taxonomy
Kalitherium marinus was named by Bajpai et al. (2006). Its type specimen is IITR SB VLM 931, a skull, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Vastan Lignite Mine, which is in a Ypresian lagoonal siltstone/claystone in the Cambay Shale Formation of India.
It was recombined as Cambaytherium marinus by Rose et al. (2020).
