Taxonomy
Neocosmoceras euchrense was named by Imlay and Jones (1970). Its type specimen is USNM 158851 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS Mesozoic loc. 2074, north of mouth of Euchre Creek, which is in a Tithonian/Berriasian marine horizon in Oregon.
