Turritella temblorensis tritschi

Taxonomy
Turritella tritschi was named by Hertlein (1928). Its type specimen is CAS 4150 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS 1152, San Augustin Canyon, Santa Rosa Island, which is in a Miocene coastal sandstone/shale in the Vaqueros Formation of California.

It was recombined as Turritella temblorensis tritschi by Merriam (1941).
