Turritella margaritana
Taxonomy
Turritella margaritana was named by Nomland (1917). Its type specimen is UCMP 1131032, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP 1706, Santa Margarita, which is in a Miocene marine sandstone in the Santa Margarita Formation of California.
