Mayr 2012Small bird, with humerus exhibiting a similar morphology to that of Scolopacimilis gen. nov. and differ- ing from crown group Scolopaci and the other taxa described below in that the caudal surface of crista delto- pectoralis is concave with a narrow craniodorsal margin (Fig. 2C). Differing from Scolopacimilis in (1) transverse ridge across the incisura capitis of the humerus not extending along its entire width (compare Fig. 2J and L) and delimiting a well-formed second fossa pneumotricipi- talis (Fig. 2L); (2) processus supracondylaris dorsalis pro- portionally longer (compare Fig. 2A and C).
