H. F. Osborn 1913Buno-selenodont perissodactyls, ambulatory, partly fosorial, with distaly cleft ungual phalanges (D.IV-II), premolar series reduced, navicular broadly articulating with calcaneum and excluding cuboid from astragalus, phalangeal and sesamoidal facets at distal extremities of the metacarpals and metatarsals partly separated; cranium and dentition intermediate in type between that of Titanotheroidea and Hippoidea.
