Paladin bairdensis
Taxonomy
Proetus bairdensis was named by Wheeler (1937). Its type specimen is LSJU 777-a, an exoskeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LSJU 1041, which is in a Moscovian marine shale in the Baird Formation of California.
It was recombined as Paladin bairdensis by Chamberlain (1969).
