Permoplanorboidea primus
Taxonomy
Permoplanorboidea primus was named by Tasch (1961). Its type specimen is W.U. 301, a shell, and it is a mold. Its type locality is Jester Creek XI, bed 20, which is in an Artinskian lacustrine lime mudstone in the Wellington Formation of Kansas. It is the type species of Permoplanorboidea.
