Taxonomy
Proetus moravicus was named by Smycka (1895) [Lectotype designated by Chlupac 19992.]. Its type specimen is S1848, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Gerastos (Longiproetus) moravicus by Chlupac (1992); it was recombined as Dohmiella moravica by van Viersen (2006).
