Zhou et al. 2000Proetinae with: strongly convex glabella with incised S1 and S2, very coarse tubercles on glabella and occipital ring; no preglabellar field; hypostoma with a short and wide median spine flanked by a pair of tiny spines; librigena with eye socle and long genal spine; pygidium subsemicircular, with relatively narrow axis with 7 rings plus a terminal piece and 5 to 6 pairs of pleural ribs. Sculpture of tubercles and granules.
