Taxonomy
Weyeraspis weyeri was named by Hahn et al. (1995). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pfaffenberg, Oberes Muehltal near Obernitz, south of Saalfeld, 3, which is in a Hastarian carbonate limestone in the Gleitsch Formation of Germany.
