Astrea breaensis
Taxonomy
Astrea breaensis was named by Carson (1926). Its type specimen is LSJU 116 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mouth of Brea Canyon, Puente Hills, which is in a Pliocene marginal marine horizon in the Pico Formation of California.
