Taxonomy
Drevermannia (Palpebralia) herrmanni was named by Richter and Richter (1943) [Drevermannia (Palpebralia?) herrmanni].

It was recombined as Piriproetus herrmanni by Lutke (1968); it was recombined as Palpebralia herrmanni by Alberti (1970); it was recombined as Eopalpebralia herrmanni by Alberti (1981).
