Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
J. R. Foster et al. 2020Amblotherium species with isometrically larger dentary and teeth than other species of the genus (m3 up to 87% longer than in other species; 1.5 mm mesiodistal length compared with average of 0.80 mm in A. pusillum and A. gracile) and differing from other species of the genus in having roots of unequal size in m1 and m2 as well as more distal molars; other characters match generic diagnosis of Amblotherium.
