Taxonomy
Ganinella auspicata was named by Zhou et al. (2000) [Ganinella? auspicata]. Its type specimen is XIG TR534, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is F003. Zhusilenghaierhan area, which is in a Frasnian carbonate limestone in the Xipingshan Formation of China.
