Hassiacoscutum munki
Taxonomy
Hassiacoscutum munki was named by Witzmann et al. (2019). Its type specimen is SMNK-PAL 9104, an osteoderm, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Korbach Fissure, which is in a Wuchiapingian fissure fill mudstone/mudstone in the Werra Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Hassiacoscutum.
