Archegonus (Waribole) laevicauda acutifrons was named by Osmólska (1968). Its type specimen is IG 442.II.24a, a cephalon/head, and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Archegonus (Waribole) acutifrons by Wagner (2020); it was recombined as Laevibole acutifrons by Lemke (2020).
