Taxonomy
Lichenaria goodrichi was named by Hall (1963). Its type specimen is UCMP 30771 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hall (1963) locs. M-1 and M-2, Lead Canyon, within Mazourka Canyon, which is in a Trentonian marine limestone/quartzite in the Johnson Spring Formation of California.
