Taxonomy
Lucina packi was named by Dickerson (1916). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP loc. 672, Parsons Peak, which is in a Ypresian marine sandstone in the Domengine Formation of California.

It was recombined as Miltha (Eomiltha) packi by Vokes (1939); it was recombined as Miltha packi by Vokes (1969) and Squires (1987); it was recombined as Gibbolucina (Eomiltha) packi by Moore (1988).
