Thulitheripus svalbardii
Taxonomy
Thulitheripus svalbardii was named by Lüthje et al. (2010). Its type specimen is SVB 2058, a footprint, and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Gruve 7 coal mine, Longyearbyen, which is in a Paleocene mire/swamp coal in the Firkanten Formation of Norway. It is the type species of Thulitheripus.
