W. J. Sando 1983 | Petalaxis with corallite diameter 9 to 15 mm and 15 to 17 major septa that commonly approach the columella and may or may not extend into the dissepimentarium. Minor septa absent or variably developed. Columella absent or weakly developed as a simple axial plate connected to the counter septum. Dissepimentarium composed of 2 to 4 rows of large in-flated dissepiments. Tabulae complete, horizontal, commonly weakly turned up at columella, and irregularly spaced 0.25 to 1 mm apart. Ratio of tabularium width to corallite diameter 0.3 to 0.4. Increase peripheral. |
