Taxonomy
Eubrontes nobitai was named by Xing et al. (2021). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is JYX-T1-L1, a footprint, and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Jinyuxi tracksite, which is in a Barremian/Albian wet floodplain siltstone/sandstone in the Jiaguan Formation of China.
