Taxonomy
Anemorhysis pattersoni was named by Bown and Rose (1984). Its type specimen is USGS 476, a mandible (left dentary fragment with p4-m2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Reservoir Creek Bonanza, which is in a Wasatchian terrestrial horizon in the Willwood Formation of Wyoming.
