Taxonomy
Columnocoenia falkenbergensis was named by Baron-Szabo (2021). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is southern Germany, Upper Schrattenkalk, Allgäu, which is in an Aptian shallow subtidal limestone in the Schrattenkalk Formation of Germany.
