Taxonomy
Dasyleptus sinensis was named by Liu et al. (2021). Its type specimen is NIGP168217, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Yinchanggou coal mine, Fuyuan, which is in a Changhsingian terrestrial mudstone in the Kayitou Formation of China.
