Taxonomy
Blattinopsis indefinitus was named by Rasnitsyn and Aristov (2021). Its type specimen is PIN 2013/1, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Fokina River, outcrop 10, sample 2036 (PIN collection 2013), which is in a Kungurian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Burgukli Formation of the Russian Federation.
