Astroconodon denisoni
Taxonomy
Astroconodon denisoni was named by Patterson (1951) [genotype]. Its type specimen is FMNH PM 542, a mandible (lower jaws), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Greenwood Canyon, which is in an Aptian/Albian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Antlers Formation of Texas. It is the type species of Astroconodon.
