Taxonomy
Anthomorpha was named by Bornemann (1884) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm Boto-l]. It is the type genus of Anthomorphoidea, Anthomorphidae.

It was assigned to Archaeocyathida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Anthomorphidae by Debrenne et al. (2015).
