It was recombined as Dasmosmilia lymani by Kiessling (2014).

Synonyms
  • Goniocyathus pacificus was named by Yabe and Eguchi (1932).

    It was recombined as Caryophyllia pacifica by Wells (1956); it was recombined as Dasmosmilia pacifica by Cairns (1994); it was synonymized subjectively with Dasmosmilia lymani by Kiessling (2014).
