Taxonomy
Tuzoia dunbari was named by Resser (1929). It is not extant. Its type locality is USNM locality 12x, Getz Quarry, which is in a Dyeran marine shale in the Kinzers Formation of Pennsylvania.
It was considered an invalid subgroup of Tuzoia by Vannier et al. (2007).
