Taxonomy
Nymphomyia alissae was named by Wagner and Müller (2020). Its type specimen is BUB 3295, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (Patrick Müller collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
