Etjosuchus recurvidens
Taxonomy
Etjosuchus recurvidens was named by Tolchard et al. (2021). Its type specimen is GSN F382, a partial skeleton (an incomplete, associated and partially articulated specimen including the skull, axial column (except for sacral and posterior caudal ver- tebrae), osteoderms,), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Omingonde riverbed, which is in a Ladinian/Carnian channel sandstone in the Omingonde Formation of Namibia.
