Named in honour of Miss Jenny Andersson
Taxonomy
Oenonites jennyensis was named by Eriksson (1997). Its type specimen is LO 7645, a mandible (right MI), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lickershamn 2, which is in a Sheinwoodian marine marl in the Hogklint Beds Formation of Sweden.
